  This pharmacy has been my go-to for the past two years, and, unfortunately, I have had far too many negative experiences. I could name the numerous times where I’ve called on my prescription ahead of coming and shown up even late to pick up and they still don’t have my prescriptions ready in the first place. Normally, that’s just frustrating, but nothing to make me up and change pharmacies. This morning, I called to fill a birth control and a vitamin. Due to the fact that my birth control was prescribed over the phone and the vitamin plus other medications were prescribed to me after surgery, I don’t know the names of my medicines by heart. The lady on the phone (who wasn’t even the pharmacist) told me that she couldn’t fill my prescription if I didn’t know what I was taking. Unfortunately, it doesn’t work like that. I’m 20 years old with major kidney and reproductive issues. I take many different medications and you can’t fill something as innocent as a birth control or a vitamin that my doctor prescribed to me simply because I’m not sure what the name of it is? If you have the prescription from my doctor, fill it. This isn’t quiz the sick patient time, it’s fill my prescription and listen to my doctor time. Anyway, very frustrating when people with half a degree try to tell me that they won’t fill my prescription that my doctor sent in. I got it sent to the other HEB. Don’t go to this one unless you want to take advice from a non-medical professional 25 year old working part time at the pharmacy. The only reason the review has any stars is because there is a pharmacist that I really appreciate and is very thorough on warning me about my medications. I won’t be coming back unless he’s there. Thanks!
