  Stay as far from this scam artist as you can. I went in for vertigo.... left with hundreds of dollars in lab work which he led me to think had to do with my vertigo.... no just wants to sell me his supplements and thyroid meds. Now they will not give me my lab work. They want to charge me 25.00 Look for another doctors

  My mother has been a long time patient of Dr. Shipman. While he has always been an amazing Dr. for her, we both recently had a very poor experience with one of his receptionists. I hope someone in his office sees this and talks to them about proper phone etiquette. My mother has an accent and has been very sick so her speech may have been unclear. The lady yelled at her that she couldn't understand her. I understand being frustrated, but she could have nicely asked her to call back with a translator. When I called later, I can only assume the same receptionist spoke with me because she was also not very courteous. She immediately told me the office was booked despite the fact I was not asking for an appointment. Behavior like that will drive customers away. I understand having a bad day, but it should never affect the way you speak to customers.
